Testimonials

Below are a few kind words from my clients, what they say about me and how I make a positive impact on their life.

Rachel, I cannot thank you enough!

I came to counselling when I was feeling really low and didn’t really know why. I wondered if counselling might, perhaps give me some support. I decided to start 2018 by taking action and reached out to Rachel Taylor. I found her online and wrote an email before I could lose my confidence to take action. I am so glad I did.
Rachel made me feel seen, supported and she was a caring voice. Because I felt so safe speaking to her, we were able to spend time working through things that I didn’t even know I had denied my heart and mind time to process. It was really tough at times, but through listening, teaching me about the brain and our learned behaviours and by reminding me it was ok to feel, she helped me to realise a lot about myself.

I had regular weekly counselling through a really tough season of my life and this went to fortnightly and then I felt I wanted to try and use what I had learnt. Now, I reach out and book a session every now and again, as I need more support.

I am a massive advocate for counselling after my experience with Rachel. She will give you the space and time you need to process. She is professional, welcoming and personalises sessions using a range of tools.

My only regret with counselling is that I didn’t go sooner. I think I thought it was for people who struggled more than me or something like that. The truth is that we all struggle and counselling with Rachel can help you to thrive. I wouldn’t go back to the person I was before counselling. It is never too early or too late to go.

Rachel was incredibly approachable, down to earth and easy to connect with.

My experience of counselling

I am so grateful for the counselling I had with Rachel as she was a real pleasure to be with, even when I may have been feeling numb.

Rachel was incredibly approachable, down to earth and easy to connect with from our first phone call and throughout my experience of counselling with her. I found she was such a natural at putting me at ease and very relatable.

Rachel is a very skilled counsellor and would creatively introduce elements of different approaches where she felt approachable during our sessions. This would help me understand how dynamics might play out in my life, or how I could give myself more strength in vulnerable situations.

Although  a very experienced and knowledgeable professional, at the forefront Rachel is human and the way she empathises and gives humour where needed in counselling has helped me restore faith in what I do, how i think about people, situations, and want to live my life. Our counselling sessions were always helpful, even on dark days, she would be able to ignite some spark.

An oasis of tranquility in my troubled world

Having experienced a variety of personal issues causing me severe stress, anxiety and low esteem and not being in a particularly good place, I finally plucked up the courage to see Rachel after dilly dallying about it for far too long .

I found Rachel to be a calm and reassuring influence , an oasis of tranquility in my troubled world, she taught me to deal with life’s matters in a more positive tone.

Rachel gave me the strength to finally stand up for myself.

Rachel made me realise I am someone! I do matter, I am important!

For years my confidence, self assurance and self esteem had been trodden upon and I let it happen. Rachel gave me the strength to finally stand up for myself.

Thank you so very much Rachel.
