I have been working clients for over 15 years with many referrals though GP’s and medical insurers such as BUPA and Aviva. I also so work for employment assistance programmes and have a consistent track record of success.

It is not uncommon for most people to feel as though they need some assistance at some point in their life. From daily stress to the loss of a loved one, life can deliver a number of challenges. These are normal life experiences for most people. The combinations of these experiences, and the times that they occur in an individual’s life, make people who they are.

Each person’s personality is down to a number of variables. The things that have occurred to them can make an individual cope well or no so well in different situations, depending on their unique experiences. People naturally develop their own coping strategies to help deal with these experiences. 

Coping strategies sometimes become out dated or inadequate, or can become unhealthy, leading people into unhelpful and potentially damaging cycles. It is often the behaviours, resulting from these cycles that are at the bottom of common problems, such as stress, relationship difficulties, depression and anxiety.

I specialise in counselling and therapy for Depression, Anxiety, Low self-esteem, Stress, Relationship and family problems, Coping with change, Lack of direction or purpose, Problems at work, Addiction, Loss, Grief and Bereavement. Undertaken in the appropriate manner, counselling can be incredibly effective for dealing with these issues.
